We pay fair wages that empower farmers to invest in sustainable agricultural methods, improving their livelihoods while preserving the country’s breathtaking landscapes. Through our equitable trade model, we’re fostering a more ethical, prosperous future for all.

Guatemalan Coffee Sensory Analysis

Sensory evaluation or analysis is a priority in our industry, as it is a way of indicating to producers the type of coffee that is available to them. And for our clients, the way to indicate the quality and flavors of the coffee that we have available. For Café Naranja is very important to have this filter of quality and transparency for the producers, as well as for our buyers.

By having our tasting laboratory, we can provide this service to the producers in our surroundings, since a large number of producers are concentrated in the areas of Fraijanes, Santa Rosa, Jalapa and the rest of eastern Guatemala. Thanks to our location, we can provide facilities and support to producers to improve their crops.

Together with the availability of sensory analysis, the fact of having an ideal roast for each quality of coffee and the target market goes hand in hand. We have our own roaster, we have experience in developing flavors through a roasting profile and we are certified by the SCA (Roaster Intermediate).

Other important reasons why we have our own toaster:

Being able to offer a personalized and specialized roast.

Being able to work together with the producer on a specific roast for their coffee.

Have the availability to give small workshops in conjunction with the roasting of each producer.

Being able to develop trust with our clients in our procedures.

Have all our knowledge and equipment available.

Join us in this pursuit of coffee excellence as we unveil the authentic flavors of Guatemala to discerning roasters, cafés, and coffee lovers across the globe. Every bean we export represents our unwavering commitment to quality, transparency, and social responsibility.
